After months of building, we’re ready to share NextForge with the world.
NextForge is an Open Innovation OS — a platform where corporations discover, pilot, and scale top-tier Latam startups in 90 days. No committees. No 12-month RFPs. Just a structured pilot, a real champion inside the company, and a clear path to conversion or walk-away.
Why we built this
The problem is structural. The buyers most likely to find and adopt an innovative startup — heads of marketing, finance, strategy, operations — have budget but no procurement authority. The answer they always get is: “submit an RFP, we’ll evaluate in two quarters.” Meanwhile, the startups that could move the needle die waiting for sales cycles longer than their runway.
We’ve watched this play out dozens of times inside our accelerator network. Powertrain Ventures has spent five years building relationships with world-class Latam startups. NextForge is the infrastructure that turns those relationships into transactions.
How it works
Corporations browse the Marketplace, describe their pain point, and receive a curated shortlist of 3–5 startups matched by industry, setup time, and LLM-privacy tier. One Master Pilot Agreement covers every startup on the platform — procurement signs once, not twenty times. The pilot runs 90 days with automated 30/60/90-day scorecards. If it works, converting to an annual agreement is one click.
The Forge Drop
Every 90 days we release a Forge Drop — a curated batch of startups at pilot pricing, available for a limited window. Think of it as an album release for enterprise software. Q3 2026 applications are open now. See the current Drop →
What’s next
We’re focused on three things: growing the startup catalog, closing the first cohort of corporate pilots, and shipping the AI matchmaking layer that makes shortlisting instant. If you’re a department head looking to run a pilot — or a Latam B2B startup ready to find your first enterprise client — start here.
